Calhoun County commissioners approve nuisance abatements, contracts and board appointments

The meeting opened with Reverend Anthony Cook giving the invocation and leading the Pledge of Allegiance; Commissioner Wilson presented a Black History Month proclamation to Reverend Cook in recognition of his community service.
Environmental Programs Manager Kraig Mize recommended proceeding with abatements on six properties in Anniston, Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
