During the Jan. 23 meeting the commission presented a certificate of special recognition to Jessica Hodge, an employee of Calhoun County Animal Control, noting she had walked more than four miles to work when snow closed roadways. Animal Control Director Naomi Richards expressed gratitude for Hodge’s dedication and Ms. Hodge thanked the commission for the recognition and support.
