A nuisance invoice of $4,030.00 for 2045 Old Choccolocco Road (owners John Taylor (Est) & Cathy Lynn Hopson) was presented and approved. During the discussion about the nine declarations, property owner Michael Clarkson (1441 Lenlock Lane) addressed the commission to explain ongoing remediation efforts and requested additional time to complete them. Jerri Flemming, associated with 4415 Skyline Drive, said she had recently evicted unauthorized occupants and is arranging trash removal. Environmental Programs Manager Kraig Mize offered to meet with both homeowners after the meeting to discuss remediation steps.
The commission adopted the resolutions by unanimous voice vote. The transcript records that Environmental Programs will follow up with property owners; the record does not show any formal extension granted at the meeting.
