CRA highlights downtown performances, Boca Street Fest and other January events

Chair Nattlis and staff highlighted a performance "From Brooklyn to Boca" at the studio at Meissner/Mizer/Miser Park, multiple concerts at the Funky Biscuit (Michael Linkton, Roll the Stones tribute, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Tommy Castro and the Painkillers), the Boca Beer, Wine & Spirits Fest at the Miser Park Amphitheatre, an MLK Jr. unity march and ceremony on Jan. 20, a free tree giveaway for residents, and the Boca Street Fest on Jan. 25 as part of the city's centennial celebrations. The chair directed residents to downtownboca.org, myboca.us/communityevents, and venue sites for tickets and registration.
Staff also promoted Boca Connect, the on-demand downtown shuttle service and encouraged support for downtown small businesses.
