The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority voted Tuesday to award the Daggett County Health Business and Community Center construction contract to the apparent low bidder for $5,320,000 and said it will ask the Community Investment Board on June 5 to change the approved scope so the project’s funding could include purchase of an X‑ray unit.
The move followed a staff presentation of the CIB funding request for the reduced-square-footage option (option B) and a review of the contractor bids. Bart, a presenter for the project, said the construction estimate in the CIB application was $6,280,000 and included a $569,000 contingency.
