Fulton County commissioners authorize travel, grant signing authority, veteran burial and hear building renovation update

At the March 3 meeting the Fulton County commissioners approved a travel request for Chief Probation Officer Dan Miller to attend the Annual CJAB Conference on April 20–22, 2026. The travel request was approved by motion and recorded in the minutes.
Commissioners authorized a CDBG "Delegation of Signing Authority" form naming HR Administrator Mary Huston and Commissioners Wible and Bunch as signatories for submitting invoices to the SEDA Council of Governments. The board also approved the February 2026 Pension Fund Report as presented by HR Administrator Mary Huston.
The board approved a burial expense application for veteran Gary Allen Myers, noted in the minutes as an Air Force veteran who served during the "War on Terror," specifically Desert Shield/Desert Storm. County coroner Berley Souders and his insurance representative met with commissioners earlier to discuss insurance for on-call duties.
County auditors met with commissioners for an audit review during the meeting. Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville provided updates on Phase II renovations for the newly purchased building on Lincoln Way West in McConnellsburg. Commissioners held multiple executive sessions for personnel matters during the meeting and adjourned at 1:03 p.m.
