Residents raise concerns about Mallard Bay nursing home; Council takes no action on Ragged Point Road restriction

The council took no action on the request; Councilman Pfeffer asked Ms. Orlando to submit an email to info@docogonet.com listing residents in favor and any injuries, and Councilman Detmer suggested filing incident reports with the Sheriff's Office non-emergency line at (410) 228-4141.
Manager Jerry Jones also introduced Matt Ozman as the new Director of Public Works; Ozman recognized Public Works staff members Sonny Willey, Jimmy Travers and David Dierks for maintaining the department during the vacancy and provided background on his experience. The council agreed to send letters of appreciation to the local delegation for support during the 2025 Maryland General Assembly session and noted Sine Die is April 7, 2025, and that the county budget is dependent on the State passing its budget.
