In procurement action, the board closed and accepted bids for 2026 rock and gravel and then accepted the lowest fuel bid from Sat Brothers for 63,000 gallons of diesel at $2.0558 per gallon (gasoline pricing per bid included). Supervisors emphasized competitive bidding as a tool for stabilizing the county’s fuel budget and voted to accept the award.
