Mayor Marie Moore and the Camp Verde Mayor and Council met in a March 12, 2026 work session to complete a full-day strategic planning workshop and finalize the Town's strategic goals for fiscal year 2027. The session began at 9:03 a.m. at 646 S. 1st Street and adjourned at 3:53 p.m.
Town Manager Miranda Fisher served as the staff resource for the meeting. Council members and department directors reviewed the results of the Community Satisfaction and Strategic Priorities Survey and the Polco Capital Improvement Program survey. After reviewing survey findings, councilmembers and staff conducted a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analysis and a Stop, Start, Continue exercise to prioritize issues for the coming fiscal year.
The council reviewed department directors' recommended goals and finalized the strategic planning goals for FY27. Meeting materials and minutes indicate the group also developed Council working agreements and discussed related governance and organizational priorities. The session closed with a joint discussion between the council and department directors to begin initial conversations about action-plan strategies for executing the finalized goals.
No formal motions or votes are recorded in the minutes for this session; the record shows the group worked through exercises and reached finalization of the FY27 goals as part of the workshop.
