"We're gonna do wristband identification for those 21, and then, yeah, Kate and I will be monitoring the service," Whitney said, adding that security volunteers will help watch for visibly intoxicated patrons.
Council members clarified that single-event permits require stricter ingress/egress control and a designated ID station; staff said families can attend certain events depending on permit details and that DABS allows submission up to seven days in advance. Because this was a work session and not a regular meeting, the council did not vote; staff and the applicant agreed the matter will be placed on the upcoming council agenda for formal motion and vote.
