GENOLA, Utah — At its Dec. 4 meeting the Genola Planning Commission approved a site plan for an accessory building and agreed to a minor calendar change for its 2026 meetings.
The commission reviewed a site plan for a proposed accessory building at 719 East Center Street. The applicant identified the surname as Daley during the hearing. Commissioners flagged two required corrections: the north arrow on the plan pointed the wrong direction and the plan should show and label the power connection from the house to the accessory building. A commission member moved to approve the site plan for Kelly Daley with the contingencies that the north arrow be corrected and the electrical connection from the house be labeled; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote with no opposition.
Separately, the commission agreed to move the January 1, 2026 meeting to January 8, 2026 so the group will continue to meet on the first Thursday of each month; that motion also passed by voice vote.
