The Cloud County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved three grant awards for the 12th Judicial District Community Corrections and Juvenile Services during its March 10 meeting.
Dawn Snyder presented the 2026 comprehensive plan grant applications. The Board approved the Fiscal Year 2026 Adult Comprehensive Plan Grant for $391,201.10; the Fiscal Year 2026 Juvenile Comprehensive Plan Grant for $292,469.94; and the Fiscal Year 2026–27 Juvenile Evidence-Based Programs Grant for $212,404.90. The three awards total $896,075.94.
The approval came on a motion by Commissioner Ron Copple, seconded by Commissioner Dannie Kearn, with the vote recorded as unanimous in the meeting minutes. The grants were recorded as formal fiscal-year awards to support correctional and juvenile services programming in the 12th Judicial District.
