Cloud County Health Department plans Home Health relocation and seeks parent agency contract review

Sulanka said the department is meeting twice weekly with Matrixcare Financial as part of the transition. She reported that Nightingale has agreed to keep Home Health services open at no cost until mid-March to allow staff time to complete the transition and that the department would like to relocate Home Health operations downstairs by mid-March; Sulanka said a fax number will need to be set up. She also said she will meet Jan. 27 with the Republic County Health Department to discuss a parent agency contract and that the Workforce Development grant has been resubmitted for reconsideration.
The board received the report; no formal vote on funding or contract approval was recorded at the meeting.
