The Cloud County Board of Commissioners met May 5, 2025, in Concordia and unanimously adopted Resolution 2025-12 to accept the Kansas Homeland Security Region F Hazard Mitigation Plan, the board said. Emergency Preparedness Director James Quillen told the board department heads will have access to the Kansas Planner to support cooperative mitigation planning.
The board approved the county's 2024 solid-waste delinquency list after Solid Waste Director Mike Hake reported there were 215 delinquent accounts totaling $24,493.00 and an additional $12,164.50 in fees that will be added to property owners' tax statements.
