Board approves $337,312.40 golf‑cart lease and emergency roof patch at Sunset Golf Course

Sam Risteff, the golf course manager, presented the request for the cart lease and the board approved the motion (moved by Ron Kopp, seconded by Anna Dale). Resident questions later in the meeting prompted Manager David Blechertas to emphasize that the golf course operates without taxpayer subsidy and that the carts are funded through course revenue.
Blechertas reported that a Gannett Fleming inspection rated the club house roof a D and that replacement will be necessary; the township will combine roof and HVAC replacement work within Gannett Fleming’s contract in a future proposal. Meanwhile the board amended the agenda and approved an emergency patch by Moser Roofing Solutions not to exceed $3,745, contingent on solicitor approval, to mitigate leaks through the winter.
Both motions carried unanimously.
