At its April 7 meeting the Londonderry Township Board approved a batch of routine administrative and procurement items and granted event support to the Londonderry Fire Police.
The Board approved selecting ADP to provide payroll and timeclock services for a first-year cost of $6,442.40 after the previously approved TrustPoint HCM contract could not be finalized; motion by Mel Hershey, second by Mike Geyer carried unanimously. The Board also authorized purchase and installation of a new HVAC unit for the Administration Building from Peiffer Plumbing and Heating at $10,800 and approved purchase of Codes/MS4 cubicles from Arnolds Office Furniture at $10,733.50.
Public Works items included approval of line painting for multiple township roads from D.E. Gemmill at $15,473.46 under COG pricing and a $1,363 repair for a mini excavator quick coupler by Cleveland Brothers. The Board approved hiring Dave Naples for seasonal parks staff and approved Resolution 2025-13 to advertise sale of an Ingersoll-Rand T30 air compressor via Municibid.
The Board accepted a donation of salt spreader lids from Tool Shed of America valued at $800 under Section 1502 of the Second-Class Township Code and approved a tax-deductible confirmation letter; the motion carried 4-1 after Vice-Chair Mike Geyer recused himself from the vote. Minutes record motions, movers and seconders for each item and indicate unanimous passage on non-donation items.
