Hospital leadership said they have begun recruiting for an open Director of Nursing position and that the current DON’s last day is scheduled for March 13. Therapy contractor agreements were noted to expire March 27; the center is recruiting full-time therapists while maintaining some travel‑staff coverage. A mobile MRI service began Feb. 16 and is scheduled to attend weekly clinic days, while the in‑house MRI is being decommissioned. The center also reported a tentative three‑year nurses’ contract reached in negotiations pending a staff vote.
From a finance perspective, the center reported total cash decreased by $502,443 to $10,003,368 and net patient receivables of $3,307,847 (reported as 49.99% of receivables expected to be collectible). Accounts receivable days increased to 70.9 (goal under 50). Gross revenue for the month was $2,673,209; hospital inpatient revenue lagged budget while outpatient and clinic revenues varied. For the month the hospital reported net income of $93,170 and EBIDA of $121,697.
