Sewer extension on SR 230 draws more connections after third notices; two properties may face enforcement

Engineer Mike Wood of HRG told the board that a third round of 'notice to connect' letters for the SR 230 sewer extension, mailed March 13, produced a noticeable increase in connection activity among property owners.
Wood said two properties remain unresolved—one because of an estate issue and one that appears possibly abandoned. He told the board that if there is no response after the third notice, enforcement action will be taken per the township’s procedures.
No vote was required on the status report. The board heard the update as part of staff and engineer reports during the work session.
