Londonderry Board unanimously appoints Scott Merchlinski to fill vacancy

Chair Ron Kopp noted the Board is required to fill any vacancy within 30 days. Board members said they had met with Merchlinski in two-by-two meetings and determined he qualified to serve. The motion to appoint was moved by Bart Shellenhamer and seconded by Anna Dale and carried unanimously.
Merchlinski took an oath of office administered by Executive Secretary Michelle Phillips and immediately took his seat among the Board members.
The appointment preserves the Board’s full membership and ensures the Board can move forward on agenda items at future meetings.
