Londonderry board approves final pay applications as Sunset Golf Course work nears completion

Township Manager David Blechertas told the Londonderry Township Board of Supervisors on Oct. 6 that the Sunset Golf Course renovation is in its final stages and that the project has been fully funded by the golf course.
The board approved pay application #1 under the electrical contract to Lauer Construction for $20,775 and pay application #3 under the general contract to Lauer Construction for $81,884.33 after the project engineer’s approval. The board also approved pay application #1 from Garden Spot Mechanical for HVAC work in the amount of $239,814, again contingent on project‑engineer approval.
Blechertas said at least one more pay application and a final general-construction payment are expected before the project is complete, which the manager estimated would occur the week of Oct. 20. The board voted unanimously on the three pay‑applications at the meeting.
