Fulton County commissioners approve minutes, payables and Food Basket sub-agreement

Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve the Feb. 3, 2026 Commissioners' minutes and the Jan. 27, 2026 Retirement Board minutes; both motions passed unanimously. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve account payables dated Feb. 3, 2026, in the amount of $91,872.06. During a presentation, Fulton County Food Basket Director Sue Cubbage told the board that state SFPP funds now come directly to the county rather than to the Food Basket, and that a county-level Sub-Agreement is required to name the county as the program administrator. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve and execute that Sub-Agreement; the motion passed with all commissioners voting in favor.
Other routine actions approved included a travel request for Services for Children Director Christine McQuade to attend the Chief Justice Max Baer's Children's Roundtable Summit April 22–24, 2026, in Hershey, Pa.; a Citgo tire quote of $640 for four tires to allow a Services for Children vehicle to pass inspection; and a Certification Statement for the fourth quarter of 2025 submitted by Services for Children Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott. All motions were recorded as "All in favor." The meeting adjourned at 11:20 a.m.
