The proclamation "proclaims March 2026 as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and commends this observance to all of our citizens," language the board approved unanimously.
Human Services Director Julie Dovey and Franklin/Fulton Family Partnership HRSA Project Director Beth Bryant, together with Franklin/Fulton Drug & Alcohol Recovery Specialist Joe Bailey, briefed commissioners on possible initiatives to reduce opioid harm and coordinate services across county programs.
