Fulton County reappoints planning and conservation members, approves retirement reports and treasury changes

At their Dec. 9 meeting, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved several administrative and personnel items, accepted retirement reporting, and authorized treasury-related operational changes.
The board approved Planning Commission reappointments for Paula Shives, James Gress, Jeremy Fletcher and Tim Newman to four-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2029, on a motion by Commissioner Steven L. Wible. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to reappoint Russell McLucas as a Conservation District Director for a four-year term through Dec. 31, 2029; the motion carried unanimously.
HR Administrator Mary Huston presented the November 2025 Retirement Fund Report, which the board approved. A Retirement Board meeting was held at 9:15 a.m. with David Lytle participating via Zoom; separate minutes are on file. The commissioners authorized payment of Conrad Siegel Inc. invoices for actuarial services ($5,700.00) to be paid from the Charles Schwab Pension Account and for investment advisory services ($3,844.25) to be paid from plan assets.
The board also approved the 2025 State Food Plan as submitted by Sue Cubbage. For administrative operations, the commissioners approved execution of bank documents to add or remove authorized check signers as part of a Treasurer's Office transition and authorized changes to Treasurer's Office operating procedures as presented by Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop. The meeting adjourned at 11:02 a.m.
