Fulton County approves HAVA-funded locks and cameras for Voter Registration office

Voter Registration/Election Director Linda Doyle met with the board to review a TelePlus quote and security needs. Commissioners approved a TelePlus keycard-fob installation for the Voter Registration/Election Office door and authorized Elect IT’s Rick Grissinger to install additional cameras above the Commissioners' Office door and the Voter Registration/Election Office door. The work will be paid from the 2024 HAVA Elections Security Grant in the amount of $3,000.00; the motion was made by Commissioner Steven L. Wible and carried unanimously.
The approval authorizes both the access-control hardware (keycard/fob) and camera placement intended to increase physical security for election operations and the public entrance to county offices.
