Bluff Town Council defers vote on amended FY2025 and tentative FY2026 budgets to June 3

Bluff Town Council paused consideration of the amended fiscal year 2025 budget and the tentative fiscal year 2026 budget during its May 22 special session and rescheduled the item for the council's June 3, 2025 meeting.
The chair said several budget numbers remain to be finalized and staff is awaiting figures from county contact Dave Sanderson. Town manager Erin Nelson was thanked for her work preparing the draft budgets; council members indicated the extra time is a relief and requested the outstanding numbers be provided before the June meeting so the council can take a formal vote then.
No formal action on budgets occurred during the special session beyond deferral; staff and council expect to return the package for adoption at the June 3 meeting.
