The body voted 9–1 to deny James Binkley’s request to change a property on Charlie Reed Road from Agriculture to R1 zoning after several nearby residents spoke in opposition. Commissioner Walter Weakley moved to deny the rezoning and Bill Powers seconded; the roll-call vote recorded nine Yes votes and one No (Chris Gilmore).
