Kittitas County public health outlines opioid‑settlement RFP timeline after interlocal with Ellensburg

Knutson said the interlocal assigns the county responsibility to provide staff support, implement and oversee the one‑time opioid‑settlement RFP and to provide contract oversight. She presented a tentative schedule in which the county would release the RFP in March and aim for a July 1 project start date, subject to final funding confirmation and interlocal details.
The update did not include a formal board vote; Knutson said staff will develop a review group for RFP applications and forward recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners for approval.
