Michaud, a city staff member who presented the items, told the committee that the purchases had been budgeted for the current fiscal year and would be procured under competitively sourced statewide contracts. "All of these are items that were budgeted this fiscal year. All of these come in under budget," Michaud said while listing vehicle types and prices.
