The board approved a $47,050 bid from Diamond Trail Sales, Inc. to purchase a used Peterbilt semi-truck for the Jasper County Highway Department after Engineer Mike Frietsch presented five bids ranging from $31,900 to $47,050. Supervisor Cupples moved to accept the Diamond Trail Sales bid; Supervisor Talsma seconded, and the motion passed with votes recorded in favor by Nearmyer, Cupples and Talsma.
