Tonya Sulanka, Cloud County Health Department Administrator, told the Board July 21 that a Home Community Based Services (HCBS) audit has started and that the department will undergo a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) audit on July 31. Sulanka said the department is interviewing candidates for a CNA/HHA position and is updating policies, procedures and the Home Health Administrator job description.
During the meeting the Board approved a personnel classification change: Teryn Buss was reclassified from CNA/HHA to Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Coordinator (D5) on a motion by Commissioner Ron Copple, seconded by Commissioner Dannie Kearn; the vote was unanimous. The Board also approved multiple short executive sessions under the personnel exception to discuss non-elected personnel, as recorded in the minutes.
The minutes do not include further details about hiring outcomes, salaries, or personnel discussion held in executive session. County staff indicated the MCH audit date and that updates to policies and job descriptions are underway.
