Cloud County approves quarter-end budget adjustment, community corrections outcome and payroll totals

The Cloud County Board of Commissioners on July 21 approved a series of finance and corrections items including the 4th Quarter Budget Adjustment Report for the Kansas Department Division of Adult Services and Juvenile Services and the 2025 Community Corrections Outcome for Adult and Juvenile Services.
Dawn Snyder, director of 12th Judicial District Community Corrections/Juvenile Services, presented reports; the Board approved the 4th Quarter Budget Adjustment Report on a unanimous motion. The Board separately approved the 2025 Community Corrections Outcome by unanimous vote.
The Board also approved payroll expenses totaling $190,984.82 and recorded payroll deductions and benefits of $228,148.10. A payroll breakdown provided in the minutes lists the General Fund at $92,120.64; Road & Bridge $54,045.04; Appraiser $6,817.91; County Health $23,100.11; Noxious Weed $1,522.92; Election $2,136.16; and Solid Waste $11,242.04.
The Board approved abatements (2025-313) with a net change of ($71.48) and a refund of $71.48. Motions on these items were made by Commissioner Ron Copple and seconded by Commissioner Dannie Kearn and recorded as unanimous.
