Kim Winsett, County Appraiser, said she is assisting with the legal description for Trail Road and indicated she would follow up with Montoya Law. Rod Michaud, Highway and Weed Administrator, reported that railroad crossings at 180th, 190th, 210th and 230th will be worked on, indicating upcoming county roadwork at those locations.
The board also approved several short executive sessions under the personnel exception. On motions by Commissioner Ron Copple, seconded by Commissioner Dannie Kearn, the board approved an 8-minute executive session that included Rod Michaud and County Clerk Shella Thoman (resuming open session at 9:29 a.m.), a 10-minute executive session that included Home Health Administrator Kendra Annon and Thoman (resuming at 10:31 a.m.), and a later 10-minute personnel session that included Thoman (resuming at 11:11 a.m.). The board unanimously approved the Oct. 20, 2025 minutes and adjourned at 11:47 a.m.; its next regular meeting was set for Nov. 3, 2025.
