Cloud County approves MatrixCare contract for Health Department, effective Jan. 1, 2026

Sulanka’s update to the Board also included Health Department operational changes: the department will not be testing for COVID or measles and has experienced a reduction in WIC grant funding, prompting program and staffing changes. The contract approval was recorded in the minutes as a formal action to support Health Department operations beginning in 2026.
