Commissioners approve three routine resolutions on court hours, per diem and incarceration credit

At the meeting Presiding Officer Alan Stempel and Commissioners Lonny Jensen and Ty Taylor voted 3-0 to adopt Resolution #26-01-20(A), which establishes Justice Court office hours for 2026. Commissioner Ty Taylor moved the resolution and Commissioner Lonny Jensen seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The board likewise approved Resolution #26-01-20(B) setting per diem and mileage rates for 2026; Commissioner Lonny Jensen moved the measure and Commissioner Ty Taylor seconded, and the motion passed 3-0. Commissioners also approved Resolution #26-01-20(C), establishing the daily rate of credit for incarceration for 2026; that motion was moved by Commissioner Lonny Jensen, seconded by Commissioner Ty Taylor, and passed 3-0.
The board conducted a first reading of a separate resolution to set office hours for the full calendar year 2026; the minutes record the first reading but do not show a final vote on that item at this meeting.
These resolutions set administrative parameters used in daily county operations — office schedules, travel reimbursement and the county’s accounting of incarceration credit — and are filed in the Commissioners’ records.
