McCone County schedules Mount Antelope Type I zoning public meeting for Feb. 23

Wade and Jeanna Massar, Greg Nagel, Clint Kirchner, Jon Hubing, Chantz Hubing and Jim Wolff met with the commissioners to discuss the project and announced a first public meeting for 2:00 p.m. on Feb. 23, 2026 in the courthouse courtroom in Circle. The meeting notice and any supporting materials are filed with the commissioners’ records.
The announcement sets a date for public input on the zoning project; the board did not take a formal vote on zoning at the Jan. 26 meeting. The matter remained on the board’s agenda for further review of county-wide zoning regulations and related permits.
The board’s minutes and filings, including any materials submitted by the stakeholders, are available on the McCone County website. The next procedural step for the project is the public meeting on Feb. 23, when the board and members of the public can review proposed zoning changes and comment.
