Fulton County commissioners approve minutes, payroll and vendor payments; several CCAP items authorized

Fulton County commissioners convened on Jan. 20 and approved routine board business including minutes, payroll and vendor payments, and authorized several County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP)-related invoices and forms.
The board approved the Jan. 13, 2026 Commissioners' Minutes and the Jan. 13, 2026 Salary Board Minutes. Commissioners then approved account payables dated Jan. 20, 2026 totaling $159,968.15, with $140,001.80 drawn from the General Fund and smaller amounts charged to Liquid Fuels, SFC Technology Grant, Law Library, 911, Hazmat, Domestic Relations, Capital Projects, Debt Service and pass-through funds. Commissioners also approved payroll dated Jan. 23, 2026 in the amount of $126,747.73.
Treasurer's office business: Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop presented updates and the board approved the 2026 CCAP Eighth Class Dues invoice for $10,323.00, a credit card approval form for Prothonotary Stephanie Sherman, and accepted the 2026–2027 CCAP PCorP renewal application as presented by insurance agent Bobby Snyder. The board approved the CCAP PComp second-installment invoice for $5,575.00 (part of a stated total contribution of $22,300). All were approved by voice vote with the minutes recording "All in favor."
Personnel and administrative notes: Services for Children Director Christine McQuade discussed a potential hire for a Caseworker II position and said she would obtain quotes for a printer and projector. The board held brief Safety Committee and Department Head meetings (minutes on file) and entered executive session for personnel matters at 11:22 a.m., exiting at 11:27 a.m., then re-entering at 11:30 a.m. and exiting at 1:10 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 1:36 p.m.
