The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 10 approved routine meeting minutes and account payables, heard a human resources update and public comment, received a technology demonstration for Fire & EMS and approved several administrative items.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve the Feb. 3, 2026 Commissioners' Minutes and the Jan. 27, 2026 Retirement Board Minutes; both motions passed unanimously. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve account payables dated Feb. 3, 2026 in the amount of $91,872.06; the minutes list fund-level breakdowns including $75,212.91 in the General Fund and a $12,500.00 transfer to Capital Projects.
Commissioners met with Mary Huston for HR updates. Resident Craig Strait raised a Clean and Green concern and provided a handout about the history of personal property; Chief Tax Assessor Melissa Gordon was present and no action was taken. McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Chief Pete Lynch, resident Jim Pittman and EMA/911 Director Brian Barton demonstrated the Chief 360 Mobile product for Fire & EMS; the minutes record the demonstration but no procurement motion is shown.
The board also approved a travel request for Christine McQuade, Services for Children Director, to attend a summit in Hershey, PA (April 22–24, 2026); approved a $640 tire quote from Citgo for four tires to bring a Services for Children vehicle up to inspection standards; and approved a fourth‑quarter 2025 Certification Statement submitted by Services for Children Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to adjourn at 11:20 a.m. and the motion passed.
