Council approves construction observation contract and builder's-risk insurance for Downtown Hammond Station

Separately, staff requested authorization for the city engineer to execute a builder’s-risk insurance agreement with Liberty Mutual with an annual premium of $9,874; the council approved both items.
Staff said the observation agreement will cover routine construction review tasks and that the insurance is required for the construction project. Council votes were taken by voice; no amendments were offered.
