CRA highlights summer concerts, museum exhibitions and June 17 Circuit shuttle pilot

Chair Nattlis provided a rundown of downtown summer programming and events at the June 10 CRA meeting, including the Summer in the City concert series at Mizer Park Amphitheater (kicking off with the Caribbean Chillers and later shows on June 21, June 28, July 12 and July 19), Funky Biscuit performances (June and July shows), and Boca Raton Day on June 24, which is commemorating the city's 1924 incorporation. She also noted an FAU summer concert on June 23 and new exhibitions at the Boca Raton Museum of Art set for June.
Chair Nattlis told residents that admission for the concert series is free, concerts start at 7 p.m., promotional items are available for early attendees, and that summer camp signups remain open. She reminded downtown users to download the Circuit app ahead of the launch: "Circuit Transit Inc will assist connectivity by offering first mile, last mile mobility solutions within the downtown area... scheduled for June 17," she said.
Why it matters: The events and the on‑demand shuttle are part of CRA efforts to boost downtown activation, encourage visits to local businesses and improve first/last‑mile connections to Brightline and other transit nodes.
Next steps: The CRA encouraged residents to visit downtownboca.org and the My Boca app for details and to download the Circuit app in advance of the June 17 pilot; no formal vote or budget action for events was recorded at the meeting.
