Council hears interviews for affordable‑housing advisory and historic preservation boards; appointments set for tomorrow

Barry Krinsky, a Boca Raton resident and managing director at Citigroup Global Markets Inc., described his professional background in financing affordable rental housing and outlined tools he said help bridge financing gaps — including Florida’s housing trust fund, subordinate financing, tax-credit financing and creative land-leasing strategies.
Julie Botello Talarico requested reappointment to the Historic Preservation Board, saying she has served about four years and cited progress in preserving Pearl City and Old Floresta neighborhoods.
The chair said appointments would be made at the next council meeting; applicants who interviewed on June 10 do not need to attend to be considered.
