Vice Chairman Howard Haas called the March 9, 2026 special session of the Kossuth County Board of Supervisors to order at 12:00 p.m. Present were Vice Chairman Howard Haas (by phone), Supervisor Kyle Stecker, Supervisor Amber Garman and Supervisor Josh Waechter; Chairman Carter Nath was absent.
Supervisor Kyle Stecker moved to approve the meeting agenda; Supervisor Amber Garman seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. The board then heard the abstract of votes from the special election. Supervisor Kyle Stecker moved to approve the abstract of votes; Supervisor Josh Waechter seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The board reviewed election-related claims and expense reimbursements submitted for payment. Supervisor Amber Garman moved to approve the election claims; Supervisor Kyle Stecker seconded. The board approved the claims unanimously. The auditor’s line-item listing of election claims showed a grand total of $3,048.00, including rents and individual expense reimbursements.
Supervisor Kyle Stecker moved to adjourn the special session at 12:04 p.m.; Vice Chairman Howard Haas seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
