Aberdeen board approves routine items, schedules hearings and directs clerk to probe two annexation petitions

The board voted by voice to approve the consent agenda at the start of the meeting. Mayor (S1) then led the board through a series of agenda items that resulted in multiple approvals, including a temporary road closure ordinance for Oct. 25 to host a private strongman fundraising competition on Sycamore Street and authorization for staff to investigate the sufficiency of two annexation petitions (Resolutions 25-15 and 25-16).
