Town Manager Rick Sawyer delivered his report, thanking DPW staff for extensive winter operations, reminding residents that the local election is March 10 (7 a.m.–7 p.m. at Bedford High School) and flagging several community programs: the Citizens Police Academy (applications due this week), the annual "Spread the Love" peanut‑butter‑and‑jelly food drive, summer camp registration and dog registration by April 30. Sawyer also reminded residents about the Lions Club pancake breakfast and the library’s concert series and asked residents to consult town websites for sample ballots and budget materials.
What’s next: plaques were presented, staff will finalize minutes and manage the items Sawyer identified in his report; councilors asked staff to prepare voter materials for the March 10 facilities feedback effort.
