The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved the hiring of Amanda Sheffield as a Caseworker II in the Services for Children Department during the Jan. 27, 2026 meeting.
Services for Children Director Christine McQuade and HR Administrator Mary Huston presented the hiring request. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to hire Amanda Sheffield, contingent on required clearances and completion of paperwork; the motion carried unanimously. A Salary Board meeting was held later to record the hire in payroll/position records.
The minutes show the board approved the personnel action but do not provide salary, start date or detailed job responsibilities; those items were recorded in separate Salary Board minutes.
