The Aberdeen Town Board voted unanimously Aug. 25 to approve ZA‑24‑01, a conditional rezoning that will allow up to 76 single‑family attached dwellings on the former Aberdeen Primary School site at 310 Keyser Street.
Planning Director Pam Graham told the board the conditional zoning would reclassify three parcels from R‑10 to Neighborhood Commercial Conditional Zoning and would permit the developer to retain the existing gym and multi‑purpose buildings for public recreation. Graham said the rezoning allows the town and landowner to set site‑specific conditions and reviewed a conceptual site plan showing internal drives and ten units fronting Debnan Street.
