Aberdeen schedules three rezoning public hearings for Nov. 24

The Aberdeen Town Board on Nov. 10 scheduled public hearings for three separate zoning map amendment requests to be heard on Nov. 24 at 6:00 p.m.
- ZA-25-05: Colin Webster on behalf of Grosvenor Land, LLC to rezone approximately 6.08 acres located east of U.S. Highway 15-501 and north of Pee Dee Road from Office & Institutional, General Commercial and R-10 to RM-6.
- ZA-25-04: Ribera Development, LLC for a Planned Development on about 122.3 acres east of N.C. Highway 5 and south of Olivia Lane (Parcel Nos. 00014326 and 00054841).
- ZA-25-08: Heath Rodgers to rezone roughly 10.82 acres in the vicinity of Johnson Street and Mike Place from R-20 to RM-6.
These scheduling actions were included in an omnibus motion moved by Mayor Pro-tem Bryan Bowles and seconded by Commissioner Tim Helms; the board carried the motion 4-0. The public hearings will provide an opportunity for residents and stakeholders to comment before any rezoning decisions are made.
