Cloud County signs Community Corrections FY25 budgets, voids $37,613 check and approves $171,330 in expenses

Dawn Snyder, 12th Judicial District Community Corrections / Juvenile Services Director, presented FY24 ending adult and juvenile outcome reports, budget amendment documents, carryover reimbursement reports for FY25 and a revised FY25 adult budget. On motions moved by Commissioner Ron Copple and seconded by Commissioner Michael Cleveland, the board unanimously approved signing the Adult/Juvenile outcome reports, the Juvenile Block Amendment Report, the Carryover Reimbursement Budget for Adult/Juvenile FY25, the FY25 revised budget for Community Corrections and the Adult Grant Comprehensive plan report as presented.
The board also approved Resolution 2024-13 to void check #220134 dated July 1, 2024 in the amount of $37,613.03 to Hall Brothers, Inc., noting the vendor never received the check. The motion on the resolution passed unanimously.
Clerk’s records show July 2024 sales tax receipts totaled $94,229.84, compared with $92,612.24 the prior year. The board approved Transfer 2024-0729-1, debiting the Crisis Pantry Grant fund and crediting County Health – Commodities for $463.19. The board recorded approvals of county expenses totaling $171,330.01; the minutes list fund-level totals including Road & Bridge $76,107.79, Solid Waste $21,620.33 and County Health $12,776.11. Commissioner Gary Caspers reported attending the KWORCC Board of Trustees meeting and the CASA Board in-service training on July 25; Commissioner Ron Copple attended a Pawnee Mental Health meeting on July 23. The board approved the July 22, 2024 minutes and adjourned at 10:47 a.m. until Monday, Aug. 5, 2024.
