Cloud County health department reports Home Health audit deficiencies, seeks MCH coordinator

Health Department Administrator Tonya Sulanka told the board that quarterly Aid to Locals grant applications are due July 15 and that she and Ginger Sorenson will attend a regional public health meeting on July 10. Sulanka and Home Health Director LeAnn Kolle discussed deficiencies identified in a federal Home Health audit conducted last week and told the board those issues must be addressed to return the program to compliance.
Sulanka also said the Health Department is accepting applications for the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) coordinator position. The board complimented MCH staff member Katie Kearn for her work and wished her well as personnel changes proceed.
