The Fulton County Board of Commissioners handled routine administrative and governance matters during its Dec. 9 meeting, approving minutes, payroll, payables and several personnel and procedural items.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve the Nov. 25 meeting minutes and the payroll dated Dec. 12, 2025, in the amount of $151,302.01; Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve payables dated Dec. 9, 2025 totaling $152,517.49. The minutes include a fund-level breakdown showing $94,208.66 to the General Fund and $28,746.70 to Debt Service. The board also approved Planning Commission reappointment letters for Paula Shives, James Gress, Jeremy Fletcher and Tim Newman (four-year terms to Dec. 31, 2029) and reappointed Russell McLucas as a Conservation District Director for a four-year term ending Dec. 31, 2029.
A Retirement Board meeting occurred at 9:15 a.m. with David Lytle joining via Zoom; separate minutes for that meeting are on file. The board approved a Conrad Siegel, Inc. invoice of $5,700 for actuarial services and $3,844.25 for investment advisory services to be paid from pension/plan assets. The board also approved the 2025 State Food Plan as submitted by Sue Cubbage.
Executive Development Director Julie Dovey, Executive Program Director Elen Ott and Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville discussed Phase II renovations for the upper level of the newly purchased Lincoln Way West building; the minutes record the discussion but do not show a contract award. Commissioners approved execution of bank documents to adjust authorized check signers for a Treasurer's Office transition and authorized changes to Treasurer's Office operating procedures as presented by Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to adjourn the meeting at 11:02 a.m.; the board voted in favor.
