Fulton County commissioners approve payables, Food Basket sub-agreement and departmental requests

Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve the Commissioners’ minutes for Feb. 3, 2026 and the Retirement Board minutes for Jan. 27, 2026; both motions passed unanimously. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve accounts payables dated Feb. 3, 2026 in the amount of $91,872.06. The minutes list a fund-level breakdown: General Fund $75,212.91; SFC Technology Grant $153.17; SFC Evidence Based Practice $492.80; Law Library $172.69; 911 $2,546.01; Domestic Relations $794.48; Capital Projects $12,500.00; totaling $91,872.06. The board approved the payables by unanimous vote.
Commissioners met with Fiscal Administrator Sue Reed and Fulton County Food Basket Director Sue Cubbage to review a Sub-Agreement under which the county will be named administrator for the State Food Purchase Program (SFPP) because state funds now flow directly to the county. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve and execute the Sub-Agreement between the County of Fulton and the Fulton County Food Basket, Inc. for administration of the SFPP; the motion carried unanimously.
The board also approved a travel request for Services for Children Director Christine McQuade to attend the "Chief Justice Max Baer's Children's Roundtable Summit" April 22–24, 2026, in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve a Citgo quote for $640 for four new tires for a Services for Children vehicle so it can pass inspection; the quote was approved. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve a Certification Statement for the fourth quarter of 2025 submitted by Services for Children Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott; the motion passed.
McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Chief Pete Lynch, Fulton County resident Jim Pittman and EMA/911 Director Brian Barton demonstrated the Chief 360 Mobile Fire & EMS system for the commissioners; the minutes record the demonstration but do not record a procurement action.
Commissioner Wible moved to adjourn at 11:20 a.m.; the motion passed unanimously and the meeting concluded.
Actions recorded in the minutes were routine approvals and administrative authorizations; no ordinances or resolutions were adopted at the meeting.
